Now Welcoming Patients in Angel, London: A New Chapter for JJB Osteopath
There’s something exciting about starting fresh in a new space—especially when that space has been carefully chosen to provide peace, comfort, and healing. It’s with great joy and gratitude that I announce the opening of my new clinic location in Angel, London. After months of planning and preparation, day one in Angel is officially complete—and what an incredible day it was. Thank you to everyone who booked appointments and helped carry in a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the very start.
Whether you’re already a familiar face from my Ealing clinic or someone new looking for holistic, hands-on care, I’m delighted to now offer osteopathy services every Monday evening at our City Road clinic in Angel. Here’s a closer look at what this new step means, what you can expect from the new location, and how osteopathy can help you feel and move better—no matter where you are on your health journey.
Why Angel?
Choosing Angel as our additional location was not a random decision. The area is a vibrant, well-connected part of London and, just like its name suggests, offers a serene yet energetic vibe perfect for healthcare. Nestled near City Road, our new clinic has been designed with comfort and care in mind, providing a tranquil treatment space amidst London’s urban rhythm.
For those working nearby, living in the area, or commuting through, this new setting provides easy access to top-quality osteopathic care without venturing far. That convenience combined with a calming environment makes Angel an ideal place for anyone looking to prioritize their musculoskeletal health and general well-being.
What Can You Expect at the New Clinic?
If you’ve visited me in Ealing, you’ll be pleased to know that the level of care remains the same—only the address has changed. I’ve always believed that osteopathy is as much about creating a safe and human connection as it is about anatomy and techniques. That ethos is alive and well in Angel.
Appointments in the new clinic are currently available every Monday from 5–8 PM, with plans to expand hours in July. The treatment room has been set up to ensure comfort and calm, helping patients to relax as we work together toward their health goals. Whether it’s your first time seeing an osteopath or you’re coming in for ongoing treatment, each session is individually tailored to provide thoughtful, effective support.
A Holistic, Person-Centred Approach to Osteopathy
My journey into osteopathy wasn’t a traditional one. From my early days as a holiday rep and flight attendant, I developed a deep appreciation for well-being—seeing firsthand how stress, body strains, and travel fatigue could take their toll. That experience ignited a curiosity about the human body and how it adapts, compensates, and expresses itself. It led me down the path of becoming a sports massage therapist before committing to full osteopathic training at the UCO (University College of Osteopathy), where I later returned as a clinic tutor to mentor the next generation of osteopaths.
This diverse background shapes how I practice today. I believe real healing requires both knowledge and genuine human connection. So whether you’re coming in for relief from neck pain, help with postural tension, or to support recovery from an injury, I aim to listen deeply—to your body and your story.
Conditions and Concerns I Can Help With
Osteopathy isn’t just about backs. It’s a system of healthcare that recognizes the relationship between the structure of the body and how it functions. By using hands-on techniques to release tension, promote movement, and restore balance, osteopathy can support a wide range of issues, including:
- Back Pain: From stiffness and tightness to lower back strains and disc injuries, osteopathy can help relieve discomfort and support recovery.
- Neck and Shoulder Pain: Tech neck is real. So is stress-related tension. These common complaints are often treatable with gentle, hands-on techniques and lifestyle advice.
- Hip and Knee Pain: Whether related to posture, injury, or wear and tear, lower limb discomfort can be significantly improved through targeted osteopathic care.
- Postural Tension: Long hours at a desk, poor ergonomics, and repetitive patterns can lead to ongoing muscular imbalances. Osteopathy can help restore alignment and function.
- Injury Rehabilitation: Whether you’re recovering from a sports injury or managing the aftermath of a sprain or strain, osteopathy can promote healing and reduce compensatory issues.
- General Aches and Pains: Sometimes the body just doesn’t feel quite right. Osteopathy can help identify the root of these unexplained discomforts—bringing ease back into your everyday movements.
Treatment isn’t just about what I do on the table; it also includes tailored advice to support you beyond the session—whether that’s exercises, postural tips, or self-care suggestions to help you move better and feel better in the long-term.
What Does a Typical Session Involve?
If you’ve never seen an osteopath before, you might wonder what actually happens during a session. Here’s a brief breakdown of what you can expect:
- Initial Consultation: We’ll talk about your symptoms, medical history, lifestyle and goals. This forms the foundation of a holistic assessment—not just focusing on where it hurts, but also exploring why it hurts.
- Physical Assessment: I’ll observe your posture and movements, and carry out specific tests to understand your body’s mechanics. Your comfort and consent is a priority throughout.
- Treatment: Depending on your needs, treatment may involve soft tissue massage, joint mobilizations, stretching and gentle manipulations. Each session is tailored to your preferences and condition.
- Advice and Support: I’ll offer guidance on managing your symptoms between sessions. That might include exercises, movement tips, or ways to prevent recurrence.
Osteopathy is suitable for people of all ages and walks of life. Whether you’re an office worker, a parent, an athlete, or simply someone looking to feel more aligned and less tense, treatment is always personalised to suit your goals and lifestyle.
A Second Location, Same Commitment
Expanding to a second clinic isn’t about doing more for the sake of it. It’s about being able to serve more people, more conveniently. I’ve heard from patients who live or work centrally in London, looking for care that’s accessible after the workday or on the way home. The Angel clinic is my way of saying: I hear you—and I’m here for you.
While you’ll now find me in Angel every Monday afternoon and evening, I also continue to see patients from my West London clinic. By offering two locations, I hope to bring holistic healthcare to even more people, wherever they are in the city.
Looking Ahead
As the new clinic gains momentum, I’m planning to expand my hours in Angel starting in July—offering even more flexibility for your appointments. It’s part of my ongoing commitment to making osteopathy accessible, responsive, and grounded in real connection.
And whether you’re an existing patient or someone completely new to osteopathy, I invite you to visit the new clinic and experience the quality of care that I bring to every session. My practice is built on a simple belief: when we take the time to understand the body—and the person behind it—healing becomes not just possible, but sustainable.

Opening the doors to a new space always feels like beginning a new chapter. But this isn’t just about brick and mortar—it’s about people. It’s about offering a quiet, supportive place where you can reconnect with your body, reclaim comfort, and receive care that respects your unique story.
I’m truly grateful to those who joined me on day one and helped set such a positive tone. I look forward to welcoming many more of you into this new setting—whether you’re seeking answers, recovery, or simply space to slow down and rebalance.
